So I left off our Adventures in Sleeping Tale with a fear of how we would all handle sleeping on vacation. Would Teddy do okay at the Lakehouse sleeping on a twin bed on the floor? Would Teddy have a bed at the beach house we rented or a room? He's never been able to sleep in the same room as us, let alone in the same bed, so we were super nervous about going to a place he's never been to and trying to make it all work. I am VERY pleased to say that Teddy did amazingly well! He was able to get himself to sleep most naps and bedtimes. And after the first night, he was able to get himself back to sleep if he woke up in the middle of the night. I am so proud of my little man! Here's a photo diary of how and where he slept on vacation.

| This is the room in the lake house where Teddy slept. It's an adorable room with two twin beds. When he was sleeping in the crib, we had the crib set up between the beds and everything was awesome. Then the climbing started (you know that story!) and we had to rearrange the entire room. Basically, both beds were shoved against the wall. The crib was left in there because it was too big to fit through the door. And one of the twin mattresses were put on the floor. Can you see Teddy in this picture? He's on the right hand side with his head on the mattress and his body is actually on the floor. |

| This was his room at the beach house. I was super nervous about him sleeping here because the room had these huge windows in two of the walls. But sleep he did! I loved this picture because he's propped back with both hands behind his head sleeping! |

So that wraps up vacation sleep adventures. But he did SO well we got to thinking...could we transfer this new independence and confidence in sleeping in different rooms into Teddy sleeping in his big boy room? We decided to risk it! And....HE DID IT! He's fully sleeping in his big boy room. Albeit, it's on the floor on the twin trundle mattress BUT he's in the room people! I've kept the nursery door locked so he doesn't try to go back in there. But he's sleeping through the night and taking 2-3 hour naps every day. This pregnant mommy is SOOOOO happy!

The answer to that question is NOPE! That was the one and only time he slept up on the bunk bed. He is a trooper about sleeping in his twin bed on the floor or right next to it on the floor.

All in all our adventures in sleeping seem to be coming to a boring end. Teddy sleeps where's he's comfortable, but he sleeps. Maybe someday we can convince him to crawl up there and sleep on his brand new mattress in the bunk bed, but for now we are pleased and well rested. What more can you ask for?
