Okay, so it's been WAY too long my friends. I sincerely apologize that it's been 6 weeks since my last post. I told you to check back often and we got SUPER busy! Here's a recap of what's been going on....
-Nick and I decided to take advantage of the great interest rates and build a house. It was really important for us to be near family, so we are building at Bridgepoint in Western Hills (WEST SIDE!). We are the proud owners of Lot 65 on Tressel Wood Drive. Yes, TRESSEL!!! I knew it was destiny and it would be okay because...."In Tressel We Trust" right Buckeyes?!
-Deciding to build the house meant selling my house right away. We had to get a house built in 1872 ready for today's market and buyers. Not so easy! My dad and Bruce came down and helped get the basement ready. Nick and I worked on the rest of the house. When Matt came home, he and I finished the basement. -May and June showers will hopefully bring....a sunny, low 70's day on July 11th!? I hope so!!! I'll be recapping my showers in another post, but let me just say I am overwhelmed by the generousity of the people in my life. Thank you all SOOO much!
-The details of the wedding have been crazy! I've been putting together favors, creating programs, getting my dress to fit just right and just trying to make sure every little detail of this wedding is PERFECT. It's been a lot of fun and I've had a lot of help! Nick has totally pitched in on many occasions. Jessica Donohue spent hours with me getting the favors done. And my dear sister, along with my mom volunteered (no pressure there at all wink wink) to do the programs! This wedding has truly been a labor of love by everyone and I find myself again grateful for the wonderful people I have in my life.
Okay, I'm going to do some more posts later this week. I just wanted to check in and tell you all how much I love you and I'm SO EXCITED FOR THIS WEDDING!!!!!!!!
