Teddy's 7 Month Pics
While we simply adore these photos, we cannot recommend our photographer. We felt her pricing was out of line with what we felt comfortable spending, yet trapped because we wanted these pics of our Teddy bear! We have learned our lesson and will always check pricing before we let anyone take pictures of our cutie pie! If you would like the name of our photographer to avoid the same mistake, please feel free to email me.

Dedicated to Daddy
Teddy has the best Daddy in the world! Nick absolutely adores Teddy and the feeling is mutual. When Nick walks in a room, Teddy's face just lights up. Arms stretch out and giggles ensue. Not only does he play with Teddy, he also changes diapers, gives baths, cleans bottles, does laundry and walks him to sleep in the middle of the night. Nick even slept on the floor once to help Teddy (and Mommy) sleep. Nick once said to me that he felt he was meant to be a Daddy. This is certainly proving to be true. This post is a compilation of Teddy and Daddy's greatest hits!
From the moment Daddy met Teddy, it was love at first sight. Can you see how happy Daddy is?
Even when Teddy is crying, Daddy is still smiling!
Kisses make it better!
Daddy's not afraid to wear the baby either!
What's funny is this is how Daddy looks when he sleeps too! Like father, like son!

From the very start, Daddy was able to get the best smiles out of Tbear!
Thank you Nick for being the best Daddy in the whole world!!! Teddy is so lucky, and truth be told, so is Mommy! We love you!!!!!

Email from Teddy
One of the coolest ideas I saw is to create an email for your baby and send them emails. It's kind of like an online journal. But they can take over the email when they are old enough and have all these emails from Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, ect to look back on and read! I also started sending family emails from him to update them on stats and what he's been up to lately. Here are the emails he's sent.
Oh and in case you'd like to send Teddy an email, here's his email address: teddyrobbe@gmail.com
January 30th
Hello from Baby Teddy! Mommy set up this email address for me. Pretty cool huh? I can't walk but I have an email address. Me and technology are going to be best friends! ;)

What I think would be sooo cool is if you would write me an email every now and then. Then when I can read (like in 2 months!), I can go back and see what you thought of me when I was little. Eventually I will be able to write you back!
I love you all so much and you are the most important people in my life.

February 2nd
Hello there! Just wanted to take a moment and tell you about my doctor's visit.
I had 2 shots in my right leg. Since I'm such a mover and shaker, mommy had to help hold me down. When each shot went in, I cried out...but since I'm TOUGH I stopped crying as soon as it was over. I wasn't fussy and didn't have any reaction to the shots. I weighed 17 pounds and 8 ounces. Mommy tells me thats about the 60th percentile. I know I'm disappointing the Robbe side by not maintaining my 90th percentile ranking, but there's always next month!!! :)
Other important news....I've decided to start sleeping through the night. Last night I went to sleep at 8 PM and didn't wake up until 4 AM! That's 8 hours friends!!!! I am AWESOME! And boy was I hungry! I ate like I've never eaten before!!!
You should also know how close I am to crawling! I've gotten the hang of pushing myself up and it's just a matter of time before I can go go go!!!
Hope to see you all soon!
Slobbery kisses and much love,
Teddy Bear
PS. SNAIL!!! (Gotcha Grandpa!)
March 26th
Well, it's been a little longer than 1 month since my last update. Mommy and Daddy were busy painting my world yellow (ok just the kitchen and dining area) and then regretting it! We were also getting ready for Vegas! So it's been a busy couple of weeks! But on March 24th I went for my 6 month check up. Once again, I was a rock star! Just a little cry and then I found my thumb and it was all good again! Here are my stats:
Weight- 17 pounds 4 oz
Height: 25.5 inches
The doctors think I should be gaining more weight, but Mommy thinks I'm doing just fine. However, she has agreed to let me start eating solids. Get ready for some great pics because Grandpa Robbe has been telling me about all the fun I can have with food since birth! He's told me how to take spaghetti and throw it, how to "mash" potatoes with my fingers and wipe them on... well, everything I can reach, how to eat sweet potatoes (and how much he KNOWS Nonna loves them too!) and how good icing is when licked right off his finger! Mommy keeps saying that the food is meant to go in my mouth, but she must be mistaken! Grandpa's ideas sound way more fun!!! Let the food wars begin!
So for four months I've been drooling all over you, the dog, my clothes, the furniture and it finally was worth it! On Tuesday, March 15th Mommy thought I had an ear infection so she took me to see the nurse at her school and that's when they found my first TOOTH! It made sense because Monday night, I hadn't slept very well at all and was just miserable. Then in Vegas, as Mommy and Tio Gato were leaving for the airport, they discovered the second toofer! I did that one without crying and fussing. Look what a big boy I am!!!
Speaking of being a big boy....here's what I can do now!
For the next several days, I became known as Teddy Vegas. My ability to adapt to any situation my parents put me in and the fact that I adjusted to Pacific time on my own, THE FIRST NIGHT, solidified my star on the Vegas Strip! I slept in the pack and play the hotel provided, I hung out in my stroller during the many long walks along the strip, I nursed in every restaurant/hotel that Mommy took me to! I even got kicked out of the Sports Book! I tried to trash the hotel room like I true rock star, but the closest I got was puking on the bed spread! Everywhere I went I got compliments on my sweet smile and bright blue eyes. My mom even got props for my sweet ride in an elevator!
The plane ride home was not as good as the plane ride there. I filled my diaper right as I got on the plane, much to the dismay of Mommy and Tio Gato! And I was a little fussier and wigglier than the first ride. However, I did take a nice long nap and that seemed to make the time go by a little faster. The 19 year old sat next to us again! It was funny because he was sleeping and drooling too, apparently his ID worked very well...maybe a little too well on the last night!
Mommy and I were all alone for the next 5 days because Daddy, Nonna, Grandpa and Auntie M were still in Vegas (lucky dogs!). I was such a trooper! I stayed up until 12:30 the first night, 9:30 the second and by the third night, I had adjusted to East coast time no problem! I slept so great for Mommy and was such a sweetie at night. I even played in my exersaucer while she ate dinner! On Friday, I pushed through all my crankiness and stayed up to greet Daddy! It was so good to see him. I giggled and smiled bigger than I had all week! Another cool thing that happened this week was I got my big boy tub! Since I can sit up on my own, I can use the "whale of a good time tub"! It's so much fun because I can splash and pick up my toys and I don't have to rely on Mommy or Daddy to get in the tub with me.
Today I start signing safari and I am so excited to learn how to talk with my hands! I'll have to teach you all how to talk back to me too!
Well, that's pretty much what's been going on around here! I love you all very much!
Love,
Teddy Vegas!
PS. Don't forget to write back! I love reading your emails!
PPS. I'll still love you, irregardless if you write back or not! :)

Speaking of being a big boy....here's what I can do now!
- I can CRAWL. I started off just pushing up and rocking and now I am a mover and shaker. If Mommy leaves the room, I can just take off after her! She usually makes it back before I got off the blanket, but I'm getting faster everyday!
- Most babies sit up on their own and then crawl, but I wanted to move too much. I did it the opposite. I crawled and then pushed back to help me sit up! I can go from crawling, to sitting, to laying down in no time at all!
- I was a squeaker and squealer for so long that you can imagine Mommy and Daddy's surprise when one morning I woke up and started to "talk". I love to babble and say baba, nana, dada, mama, gaga, and any combination of those! I talk more when I'm tired, but love trying out my new sounds!
- I am pulling myself to standing and trying to balance myself. I am determined to figure out how all those big people get around so quickly! Mommy wants me to crawl for a while longer, but that might now be in my plans! This also had mommy worried because I can pull myself up in my crib too! Of course it happened when Daddy was out of town! So Mommy had to have her friend Tracy come over and lower the crib to keep me from escaping! Foiled again!

June 11th
Hello there! It's your favorite Teddy Bear writing again to update you with his most impressive stats from his last visit to the Doctor. I weighed a whopping 19 pounds! Mommy and Daddy were quite surprised by this because I feel so much heavier to them in their arms. Maybe it's because I squirm so much trying to get down? 19 pounds at 9 months puts me in the 25th percentile! The doc says its because I was an early crawler (yes, he formally recognized me as a prodigy!) and started moving and grooving while other babies were just sitting around eating. He is not worried about my weight at all and says I look perfect for my age! I'm 28 inches long and in the 40th percentile for height. Will I be tall like Daddy or short like Mommy??? Only time will tell! My weight for length puts me at the 50th percentile, which means I'm certifiably perfect! Oh and in case anyone cares, my head circumference is 18.5 inches...that's the 90th percentile! This just proves I'm a genius...big brain = smarter! Come on Uncle Big Cat...back me up on this one! I wonder what Gato's hear circumference is? I'm willing to guess he's off the charts!!!
At this visit, the Doctor asked if I was crawling. I was like, dude, crawling is like so 3 months ago! I'm standing. The doc said, pulling up on things. I said, no sir- from the floor up! He was very very impressed! He said the next step is walking and he's willing to bet I will be a very early walker. I'm hitting all my milestones developmentally. I'm on the early side for gross and fine motor skills. While I haven't said my first word, I'm babbling like crazy. I also love to blow raspberries. Like a lot. I sit in the carseat while Mommy's driving and just go to town making raspberries. I'm trying out my signs! I've signed "more", "all done" and attempted "diaper change". Mommy and Daddy aren't quite sure if I know what they mean quite yet, but they are wrong. I know what it means! Remember...I have a gigantic brain! And I love to wave to pretty girls. Especially if they are in bathing suits! Apparently I'm quite the ladies man. Flirting with all the girls. Jimmy... Buppy...can you say wingman?!
If you haven't seen me lately, you are going to be quite surprised when I smile. I have 6 teeth in there! I got my bottom teeth first, then my top outer teeth. I looked like a vampire! Aunt Missy deemed me Tedward! Which is perfect because Eleanor was called Bella for a while because she loved to bite necks. Like the Twilight Edward, I don't really bite necks...but I do enjoy pinching them! Last week my top front teeth broke through! I'm hoping for a break in teething so I can get some good sleep...okay, it's really Mommy hoping for that! I love to party in the middle of the night. Speaking of sleep, I've become quite the sleeper lately. I go to bed around 8:30 PM and sleep all the way through the night until 8:30 AM!!!! I've only woken up once in the middle of the night this whole week. Mommy came in and was holding and rocking me. So I thanked her by sitting up and clapping and waving bye bye to her! She didn't seem to appreciate it at 3 AM like I thought she would. I got my butt thrown in the crib and she kissed me and walked out. So I went back to sleep!
Well, that's about all from here. Love you all very much!

PS. Can someone tell Mommy and Daddy that their newest nickname for me, "Teddykins", is cramping my style? That doesn't sound very macho!
