So this year for Mother's Day I decided I wanted to go to the zoo to see Zoo Babies. There's nothing cuter than all those cute little animal babies. Plus every time we take Teddy to the zoo he has a greater understanding of what he's seeing and it's amazing to watch. I think everyone else had this idea too, because it was kind of crowded!
It was a pretty normal zoo trip, complete with coney dogs and a trip to the zoo store. We are in the process of collecting those adorable plush zoo animals they always put on special. We have the elephant thanks to Nonna and now we have the giraffe and the zebra.
However, there was one really special moment for Teddy. He got to feed the giraffe two crackers! He was so excited!

So the day was perfect. Since we have passes, when Teddy and I were both wearing down we decided to head out and come back another day for more zoo fun. It was in the car on the way home that I realized we didn't make it to see the zoo babies! Oh well, there's always next year!
