Our Honeymoon
So we don't have any wedding pictures yet (boo!) so I thought I would go ahead and post our honeymoon pix. Enjoy!
This was our first day in St. Maarten. We stayed on the Dutch side of the island. The people of St. Maarten were friendly, hospitable and always willing to help. The island itself is half Dutch and half French. On the French side, a call to France is considered a local call. BUT if you call right down the street to the Dutch side, it's considered an international call! HA!
Our view from our first balcony....yes first means there was a second! We had a balcony off our living room and bedroom, both with views of the ocean.
Aaaahhhh....finally, some relaxation time. Nick and I spent a lot of time reading. We both four books on the honeymoon.

Our first excursion was the Apache Tour to Tintamarre (in the background of this pic) and Pinel Island.
On Tintamarre, we had a mud bath, where we covered ourselves in mud and then let it dry/bake in the sun. After we washed off, we were smoooooooth!
On Pinel Island, there was a huge sandbar that allowed Nick and I to wade in the water all afternoon.
This is a picture of Prickly Pear Island. This was our FAVORITE place. The white sand beaches, the amazing coral to go snorkeling, the crystal clear water...I mean...hello paradise!
This is where we went snorkeling. This is how Nick spent his day, splashing in the waves.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Whew! What a whirlwind this whole experience has been for us.
Nick and I truly had the "Time of Our Lives". It was the most amazing wonderful time and we enjoyed every second of it. Here are some of our favs:
-Seeing eachother for the first time at the end of the alter. When those doors opened, there was so much love and happiness!
-The rain stopping and the sun shining just in time for our vows.
-The rainbow that our guests enjoyed while going to the reception. (Sidebar: rain...sunshine for our vows...AND a rainbow? How much more lucky could we get?)
-Remembering our dear grandparents during the petitions- we both shed a few tears!
-Our first kiss as a married couple!
-THE PARTY BUS!!!! Our ride to the reception was so much fun and Eleanor Rose had us all laughing as she tried her best to drink some champagne with us!
-Getting to the Marriott and going into the Bridal Suite to change and bustle. It was a flury of t-shirts, my mom pinning (and pinning and pinning) my dress so Nick and I could do our first dance.
-OUR FIRST DANCE Hearing the roar of applause after we were finished was incredible. It was such a relief- we had worked so hard for so long!
-Me and Ed dancing to "Love Shack". What's so funny is that Ed has said since Day 1 of planning this wedding that he wanted a special dance with me. I kept telling him that we should dance to "Love Shack". It became a running joke between us. When "Love Shack" came on, we found each other and boogied down! We can't wait to see the video of this moment!!
-The circles of dance that formed throughout the night were not only entertaining, but showcased some great dancers (and some not so great dancers- HA!) Who knew Joey Hackman loved Lady Gaga? Who knew Max Stunkel knew all the words to I Like Big Butts? Who knew the Mazza boys could tear up the dance floor like that?
-My Milford "Teachers Gone Wild" friends getting down and using the chair sashes as dancing props!
- Mike Cann catching the garter for the THIRD teacher wedding in a row! He likes to wear them on his head! :)
-Our last dance to "I've Had the Time of My Life". It was the perfect ending to a perfect night!
-Well the night didn't exactly end there (--this blog is PG- so get your dirty minds outta the gutter!). The Robbes and Clemson kids partied late into the night in the Sharonville Room- while Nick and I went up to our room and........ATE! What did you expect??? We're Robbe's and Dunbar's. We made 100% sure that we had two full dinners AND a slice of EVERY flavor of cake sent up to our Bridal Suite.
-Seeing everyone at the brunch the next morning was such a great way to cap off a perfect weekend.
-FYI- For those of you impressed with my dancing and seemingly endless energy- it does come with a cost! I had HUGE blisters on both my feet and my feet hurt until Wednesday! But it was ALL worth it!
Thank you all SO much for being part of our very special day. It wouldn't have been as much fun without your energy, craziness and willingness to let go and have a blast!
